A lot of information to follow, I’ll try to keep each point short!

Few changes on the website, first up. We are using new software that will allow you to manage your own subscriptions.  When you get messages from our mailing list they will have information at the bottom as to how you can unsubscribe.  Or if you want to subscribe there is a link in the menu on the left side of the website.

We have also setup to where we can take donations and memberships online either via a credit card, or with a PayPal account.  Have a look on the left side of the website just below the main menu to see.

Since this is a holiday weekend, we will be having our normal monthly lunch social on the 12th intead of the 5th.

Hope everybody has a happy and safe 4th, Gig’em! 

We will be hosting a Coaches night at Johnnies Steaks and BBQ in Salado on Tuesday June 29th.  Joining us will be Men’s Basketball Associate Head Coach, Scott Spinelli.

We be in the banquet room at 5:45, Dinner will start at 6:00 PM, we will have Brisket, Sausage, Chicken and all the fixings, plates will be $20 for a single, or $30 for a couple.  There will also be a cash bar. Note that all profits from Coaches Night will go toward our annual scholarship fund.  This year we presented 3 $750 dollar scholarships to students attending A&M in the fall.

There will be a Social Lunch on April 5 from 12-1pm at
Clem Mikeska’s, 217 South 57th St. Temple, TX.

There are also socials on the first Thursday of each month at the Cotton Patch Cafe in the Temple Mall at 5:30, and the second Tuesday at Cheeves Bros, after 5.

Muster is fast approaching, come join us April 21st, in Temple at the Mayborn Convention Center, Muster Speaker is Dr. John McDermott, Distinguished Professor of Philosophy and Humanities.

Social Hour: 6:15 to 7:00
Dinner: 7:00-
Muster Program and Speaker: 8:00-9:00
Cost $20/$10 (students).

Fatboys BBQ (caterer) brisket/sausage, au gratin potatoes, green beans, brown beans, bread, pickles, onions, tea and water.
